Savant is one of the few systems that runs the entertainment, the lighting and the electrical panel from the same app. In Houston that last part stops being a feature. When the power goes, the house decides what stays on — and that decision is made months earlier, on a drawing, with the electrician in the room.
What a Savant system covers.
Circuit-level monitoring at the panel, and a ranked plan for what keeps running on battery or generator when the grid drops. Not a whole-house guess — the fridge, the well, the office and two air handlers, decided in advance rather than in the dark.
Power and backup
Savant lighting and keypads where the house is on Savant end to end, or Savant sitting over Lutron where the lighting deserves the better system. We specify the combination the house needs, not the one that is easier to order.
Light and shade
Multi-room audio that starts in the room you are standing in, sources that wake in the right order, and volume that behaves the same everywhere because it was calibrated in every room rather than set once at the rack.
Music and video
One app for entertainment, climate, lighting and power, laid out around what the house actually does. Behind it, the part you rarely see: panel schedules, load calculations and as-builts that stay with the house.

If a brand offers a certification, we go and get it.
That is the rule for every brand we carry, Savant included: StroTek has passed Savant's Core certification, because we sit whatever a manufacturer puts in front of us rather than picking the brands where the paperwork is easy. On Savant it matters more than most, since a Savant house can reach the electrical panel.
That is also the line we do not cross on our own. Panel work is an electrician's licence, not ours. We draw the loads, rank the circuits, specify the modules and the storage, and hand a schedule to the electrician who lands the wire. Done in that order, backup is a design decision. Done after the panel is set, it is whatever was left over.
